ORBIS series barrier that enables connection of intrinsically safe devices to the panel. It is placed between the safe area and the explosive area; it restricts the voltage and current passing to the field so that even if a fault occurs on the line, it remains below the ignition threshold. Without this unit, ORBIS intrinsically safe devices cannot be connected to the line directly.
