Active version of the MT 28 / 244 set; amplifier is housed inside the enclosure. Operates by direct connection to mixer output, eliminating the need for a separate power amplifier. Reduces cable count and in-rack device count in conference halls and amphitheater installations. Active set accepts line-level signal directly from mixer; separate speaker cable is not required.
