A module that is installed in the public address and alarm matrix panel and connects the microphone input to the system. The point where it differs from the panel's output card is that it takes audio into the system; the matrix handles routing and distribution. It is activated at points where live paging is performed such as security control center, information desk, and fire control room. Thanks to the modular design, adding a new paging point requires only adding a module to the rack instead of replacing the panel.
