This control unit manages communication between field telephones and the security center during emergencies. Unlike other panels, it does not provide visual information; it establishes voice communication and allows conference calls. It is installed in high-rise buildings, enclosed parking structures, and large facilities at the point where field telephone lines are collected. Since the center is automatically dialed when the handset is lifted, there is no time wasted dialing numbers on a smoke-filled stairwell.
