ML-2450/M is a protected conventional flasher with IP33 housing and provides warning through light only. Its distinction from the sounder in the same protection class is that it produces a visual signal unaffected by ambient noise. As it carries marine certification, it is preferred at locations such as deck areas, wet compartments, and machinery space entrances. In environments where wave and engine noise mask audible alarm, the flashing lamp increases the likelihood of the alarm being detected.
