The ML-2440 is a IP33-housed audible alarm device connected to the siren line of a conventional fire alarm control panel. It differs from strobe models in the series in that it produces sound instead of light. Since users can select from 32 different tones, fire, evacuation, and test signals are not confused with one another. Semi-open passages, canopies, and humid technical spaces are the application areas for this model.
