ML-2140/M is a marine-type conventional multi-sensor detector that combines an optical smoke cell with a temperature sensor in a single housing. Its advantage over single-sensor models is that it compares two fire indicators and produces a decision accordingly. It is installed in general volumes and technical spaces of passenger ships. Since dust generated by ship motion or kitchen vapor alone cannot exceed the threshold, spurious alarms become infrequent during navigation.
