ML-2140 is a conventional multi-sensor detector that combines optical smoke and temperature detection in a single housing. Unlike single-sensor models, it evaluates two different fire signatures together. It is preferred in offices, laboratories, and mixed-use spaces where the fire characteristic cannot be predicted. Installing a single device instead of two separate detectors at the same location reduces installation labor and the number of devices required.
