ML-2140.IS is a conventional multi-sensor detector with inherent safety that carries an optical smoke cell and a temperature sensor in a single housing. Unlike its series counterparts that monitor only one parameter, it interprets two measurements together and therefore makes fewer errors than decisions based on single data. ATEX zone designated manufacturing plants and warehouses use it. Since welding fumes or brief temperature rises do not receive confirmation from both sensors, unnecessary shutdowns are reduced.
