ML-2110/M is an optical smoke detector connected to the conventional fire zones of marine vessels. Unlike the temperature models of the nautical family type, it detects fire at the smoke stage. It is used in compartments where smoke is the first indication, such as cabin corridors, lounges, and living quarters. The sealing of its printed circuit from open air exposure prevents salt spray and condensation from degrading the electronic components over time.
