ML-1720/M, unlike a push-button, is an addressable emergency call device triggered by pulling a cord. It connects to the intelligent addressable circuit and appears on the control panel with its own address. It is used in disabled cabins, wet spaces, and areas with fall risk on vessels. The rope hanging from the ceiling allows a person who has fallen or cannot reach the button to call for help.
