This addressable device produces both sound and light and is equipped with an integral short circuit isolator. Thanks to the isolator, a single cable fault in the outdoor field does not cause other sirens in the loop to become silent. Because both audible and visual warning are generated from a single point, the likelihood of the evacuation alert being noticed increases. Since a separate isolator box is not required for long and branching outdoor lines, project cost and cable routing are simplified.
