This addressable strobe beacon provides visual-only warning and differs from the basic model in that it contains an integral short circuit isolator. A short circuit occurring in the loop is limited by the isolators, allowing other addresses to continue communicating. In external access points where moisture and mechanical shock risks are high, this protection shortens the system restart time after a fault. Since no separate isolator module is added to the line, the number of installation points is reduced.
