This device, the isolator-equipped variant of the IP33 protected marine sounder, creates a warning point with safeguards against both external influences and line faults. The internal isolator automatically isolates the section of the loop where a short circuit occurs. Thus, acoustic alert throughout the vessel is not lost due to a single cable crushing. It serves as the warning point of the addressable system in open deck areas exposed to moisture and water spray.
