This marine certified device provides combined audible and visual alarm notification and is supplied with a short circuit isolator built into its housing; this is the only difference from the isolator-free version. When a short circuit occurs in the loop cable, the isolator disconnects the line to prevent the fault from silencing sirens in other sections. In marine vessels, cable routing is lengthy and challenging; with the isolator built into the device, installation and commissioning time is reduced.
