This ceiling type sounder operating on an addressed loop announces fire alarm with light only, not audible signal. The distinguishing feature of this version is that the short circuit isolator included in the EN 54-17 range is integrated within the device housing. When a short circuit occurs at a point on the line, only that section is deactivated while the rest of the loop continues to emit light. Thus, the need to place a separate isolator module on outdoor lines and create additional junction boxes is eliminated.
