An intelligent addressed sounder is a visual warning device that notifies fire alarm with light and is powered from the loop circuit. Because it has no audible output, it is preferred in noisy production areas and in spaces where hearing-impaired users are present. The address information is assigned software-wise via the addressing device; field switch settings are not required. By adding it to cause-and-effect scenarios, activation can be limited to only the relevant zone; the warning is confined to the target area.
