It is a single-input addressable module that monitors the position of an external dry contact and reports it to the control panel. Its difference from relay output versions is that it only listens rather than controls, and it contains the isolator within itself. It is used for monitoring points such as sprinkler flow switches, valve position switches, or door contacts. Since it can operate normally open or normally closed, the event type that will appear on the control panel when the contact changes is determined according to the project.
