ML-1362/M is an addressable monitoring module that reads whether a single contact is open or closed and reports it to the control panel. Its difference from eight-input relatives is that it is designed for locations with only one monitoring point. It is used in yacht and ship installations to bring individual contacts located far apart into the system. Since the module can be placed next to the monitored device, there is no need to run a separate signal cable to the control panel.
