This marine-type module operates the smoke damper in the ventilation duct through commands from the addressable loop. Its difference from the DC and mains voltage versions in the family is that it has an output suitable for actuators operating on 24V alternating current. It performs duty in smoke exhaust ducts of ships, yachts and passenger vessels. Position monitoring input verifies that the damper command has been applied; a damper that does not move from its position is reported to the crew.
