This is a marine-type control module that opens and closes smoke dampers through an intelligent addressable circuit. The way it differs from alternative AC models in the same family is that it is designed for damper motors powered by 24V DC. It is used in fire dampers in ship and yacht ventilation ducts. Since the damper powered from the DC bus can be connected directly, no intermediate voltage converter or additional panel equipment is required.
