ML-1352.SCI/M, which contains four zone inputs and four sounder outputs together, is the type with an integrated short circuit isolator. The built-in isolator isolates the faulty cable section, keeping the rest of the system operational. It finds its place in marine and cargo vessel fire alarm installations where marine certification is required. Since zone monitoring, sounder control, and line protection are reduced to a single unit, fewer devices are activated in the loop.
