This is the short circuit isolator version of an eight-input zone control module that carries zone lines into addressable operation. The status of the inputs is monitored individually via LED indicators; the module is mounted on a rail and secured inside the panel. Thanks to the internal isolator, a short circuit occurring in the loop affects only the relevant zone. In mixed-configuration installations, both legacy zones are protected and an additional safety layer is gained against fault propagation.
