ML-1318.SCI/M is the short circuit isolator version of the Maxlogic module that consolidates eight relay outputs into a single unit. Since the isolator circuit comes pre-installed on the card, there is no need to position a separate isolator on the line. It is installed in fire alarm loops of marine vessels that are subject to marine-approved equipment requirements. When a short circuit occurs on the cable, only the faulty section is isolated, and the rest of the loop continues communication with the control panel.
