The GCU module with BACnet interface transfers information generated by the fire detection control panel to BACnet building automation. It performs the same function with a different protocol as the Modbus version; it is the correct choice for facilities with BACnet infrastructure such as hospitals, hotels, and office buildings. It comes with its own 3-ampere power supply. Since no separate converter equipment is required on the automation side, both cabinet space and commissioning time are reduced.
