ML-1180.SCI is an intelligent addressable active air sampling smoke detector with a short circuit isolator built into its own housing. It delivers the same sampling performance as the isolator-free model; the difference is that in a short circuit, it isolates only the faulty section from the line. It is preferred in long-cycle facilities and multi-story buildings. Since it eliminates the need to install a separate isolator module on the line, both the bill of materials and commissioning time are reduced.
