The ML-1130BS/M is a BS class marine-type intelligent addressable heat detector that alarms according to an 80°C fixed threshold. Its difference from the lower-threshold temperature models in the series is that it can be installed in volumes with high operating heat. It is used in continuously hot areas such as boiler rooms, engine compartments, and furnace surroundings. Since the raised alarm point prevents normal operating heat from being mistaken for fire, there is no requirement to exclude these sections from detection.
