This device is a marine-type addressable detector that combines A1S-class fixed temperature sensing with a short circuit isolator. Unlike the standard version, it also performs line protection duty and maintains operation of the intact portion of the circuit in case of fault. It is used in hot areas such as engine rooms and galley spaces where cable damage risk is high. Since the isolator is built into the device, no separate junction box or additional terminal connections are required on the line.
