MG-5400/M is an electromechanical alarm bell powered by a conventional fire alarm line. Its distinction from electronic sirens and strobes is that it provides the alert with a classic bell sound. Because it carries TÜRK LOYDU and MED approval, it is used on yachts, cargo ships and similar marine vessels. On decks where motor noise is high, the bell sound is more easily distinguished than electronic alert tones.
