Base unit manufactured for MG series addressed detectors, containing a short circuit isolator in its housing. Since the isolator remains inside the socket, protection persists on the circuit line even when the detector is removed for maintenance. It is used in sections of marine vessels where multiple detectors are connected to a single circuit. There is no requirement to obtain and install an additional isolator module to partition the circuit device by device.
