MG series intelligent addressable detectors sit on this base unit, where the loop cable is terminated. Unlike its isolator-equipped counterpart, it serves only connection and mechanical retention functions. It is used in locations where the detector is mounted directly to the ceiling, such as ship cabins, hold compartments, and service corridors. Since the socket is pre-mounted with the installation wiring, detectors can be installed after painting and assembly work are completed.
