MG-3500/M is a marine-certified socket base to which MG series detectors are connected. It should not be confused with ML series sockets; this model serves only detectors with MG housing. It is used in conventional fire detection lines aboard marine vessels for ceiling and wall mounting. Even if the detector is removed for maintenance, the zone cable remains connected to the socket, so the installation does not become disconnected.
