ML-1173.SCI is a reflective beam type smoke detector with short circuit isolator. The receiver and transmitter are in a single housing; a reflector is placed on the opposite side and the amount of returning infrared light is continuously measured. The internal isolator ensures that a short circuit in the loop affects only that point. In large and high-volume spaces, coverage with a single unit significantly reduces the number of point detectors and installation labor.
