ML-1170.SCI is an intelligent addressed beam type smoke detector with short circuit isolator. It consists of two parts: a transmitter and a receiver; it continuously monitors the amount of infrared light transmitted between them and generates an alarm when smoke attenuates the beam. The internal isolator prevents a short circuit at the location of the unit from affecting the rest of the circuit.
