Conventional siren manufactured in intrinsically safe (IS) design. Since the energy supplied to its circuit is kept below the ignition threshold, it is powered through a safety barrier; standard sirens cannot be used in volumes classified as explosive atmospheres. The IP65 housing protects against dust and water spray encountered in the same areas.
