KiddeKE-DT3101W-HAB Addressed Heat Detector with Isolator

KE-DT3101W-HAB is an addressed heat detector in the Kidde Excellence series. It responds to both a fixed temperature threshold and rate-of-rise; this is why it can alarm before the threshold is reached in a rapidly developing fire. Alarm temperature is adjustable from a minimum of +54 °C to a maximum of 70 °C. Suitable for spaces where a smoke detector would generate unwanted alarms, such as dusty warehouses, boiler rooms, kitchens, and parking garages. Coverage area up to 56.3 m², mounting height up to 7.5 m. Address is set directly as a number using two rotary switches — no binary or hexadecimal conversion required, reducing the risk of incorrect addressing. The three-color LED indicator is visible through 360°; no need to align in the corridor to locate an alarming detector. Short-circuit isolator is built into the device; a short circuit at one point in the loop does not stop the rest of the line. Performs self-test and soiling compensation, generates a warning when maintenance is required. Mounts on the standard KE-DB3010W base; because all detectors in the series use the same base, field device replacement can be performed without removing the base.
