KiddeKE-DP3121W Isolated Addressable Dual Optical Smoke + Heat Detector

KE-DP3121W is an addressed dual optical smoke detector in the Kidde Excellence series. It scans the smoke chamber in both forward and reverse directions with two separate optical wavelengths. This dual-angle measurement enables it to distinguish particle size: genuine fire smoke is separated from dust and vapor, significantly reducing unwanted alarms. All three alarm levels are EN 54 certified. Coverage area up to 112 m², mounting height up to 10.5 m. Address is set directly as a number using two rotary switches — no binary or hexadecimal conversion required, reducing the risk of incorrect addressing. The three-color LED indicator is visible through 360°; no need to align in the corridor to locate an alarming detector. Short-circuit isolator is built into the device; a short circuit at one point in the loop does not stop the rest of the line. Performs self-test and soiling compensation, generates a warning when maintenance is required. Mounts on the standard KE-DB3010W base; because all detectors in the series use the same base, field device replacement can be performed without removing the base.
