KiddeKE-DP3120W Isolated Addressable Dual Optical Smoke Detector

KE-DP3120W, a Kidde Excellence series addressable dual optical smoke detector. The smoke chamber is scanned in forward and reverse directions using two separate optical wavelengths. This dual-angle measurement enables discrimination of particle size: true fire smoke is distinguished from dust and vapor, significantly reducing unwanted alarms. All three alarm levels are certified EN 54. Coverage area up to 112 m², mounting height up to 10.5 m. Address is set directly as a number using two rotary switches — no binary or hexadecimal conversion required, reducing the risk of incorrect addressing. Three-color LED indicator is visible at 360°; no need to align in the corridor to locate the alarming detector. Short-circuit isolator is contained within the device; a short circuit in the loop does not stop the remainder of the line. Self-testing and contamination compensation; generates warning when maintenance is required. Mounts on standard KE-DB3010W base; all detectors in the series use the same base, allowing field device replacement without removing the base.
