KE-DM3110YS99, a yellow (RAL 1003) manual call point used in Kidde Excellence series addressable fire alarm systems. Single action design: pressing the glass element transmits the alarm directly to the control panel. Used for manual activation of gaseous suppression systems; the yellow housing distinguishes this function from fire alarm reporting. The text on the glass reads "EXTINGUISHING RELEASE". The housing contains a short-circuit isolator; when a short circuit occurs at one point in the loop, the remainder of the line continues to operate, preventing the entire floor from going dark due to a single fault.
