Grid Nozzle

In hood suppression systems, the grid nozzle is a discharge head positioned over griddle, grill, and charbroiler equipment. It differs from fry nozzles in that it disperses the suppression agent over a wide area rather than at a single point, thus covering the entire open cooking surface. It is used in industrial griddle lines where oil dripping and flame splatter are intense.
