Honeywell conventional heat detector. Used in environments such as kitchens, boiler rooms, and parking garages where smoke detectors would produce false alarms; steam, dust, and exhaust fumes do not trigger the heat detector. Since it detects fire later than smoke, its placement must be carefully selected.
