The Esser 802376 OT blue duct type detector is a multi-sensor fire detector carrying integrated optical and heat sensors. It produces both a combined signal and a separate heat signal for advanced false alarm management; time-controlled signal analysis filters out short-duration spurious events. In duct applications, with air flowing rapidly, smoke becomes diluted; the multi-sensor design maintains detection reliability despite this dilution.
