Hochiki YBN-R/4 IS Intrinsically Safe Detector Base

The YBN-R/4 IS is a mounting base designed for intrinsically safe conventional detectors. It is compatible with the SOC-E-IS smoke detector and DCD-1E-IS heat detector. It contains no electronic components and features a special cable screen terminal. In Ex zones, the base and detector must be used together as a certified pair; use of an incompatible base breaks the intrinsic safety chain.
