Hochiki DRD-E Conventional Flame Detector

The DRD-E conventional flame detector directly senses radiation emitted by flame. Because it responds before smoke reaches the ceiling, it is used in high-ceiling spaces and large volumes with heavy air movement where point detectors are insufficient. In large-scale areas such as industrial facilities, warehouses, and parking structures, it rapidly detects fire risk; in locations where hydrocarbon fires grow rapidly, seconds are critical.
