The DFJ-AE3 is a conventional heat detector operating with a 60 °C fixed temperature threshold. The fixed threshold principle produces fewer false alarms compared to heat rise detectors in volumes where temperature fluctuations are natural. It is suitable for medium temperature environments where smoke detectors cannot be used, such as laundries, kitchens, and boiler rooms. It features a parallel alarm lamp connection point; the base is supplied separately.
