The Hochiki ALN-E(HFP) optical smoke detector is a photoelectric smoke sensor fully compatible with the Hochiki ESP analog-addressed protocol. It employs Hochiki's high-performance sensing cell. The cell geometry is engineered to facilitate smoke entry while minimizing the effects of false triggers such as dust and insects; this directly addresses the primary cause of false alarms in optical detectors.
