MaviliAir Duct Sampling Device
The air duct sampling device is used to detect smoke within the duct. The Venturi tube and mounting box are designed to provide optimal airflow to the smoke detector. During a fire, the air conditioning and ventilation system is the fastest route through which smoke is carried throughout the building; duct sampling detection stops this spread early by triggering fan shutdown and damper closure.
