UG-4-DUCT-HOUSING is a single-tube duct type detector housing used to detect smoke within ventilation ducts. Air conditioning and ventilation systems are the fastest route for spreading smoke throughout a building during a fire; the duct detector cuts off this spread early, causing the fans to shut down. The use of a single tube significantly simplifies installation and commissioning; the venturi tube and housing are designed to deliver optimal airflow to the detector.
