J-NET-ADV-COMS-485 is a dual TTL/RS232 converter card for Odyssey applications. It is powered from 230 V AC mains or 28 V DC nominal voltage and draws approximately 14 mA. Conversion of the serial communication interface enables devices from different generations to communicate on the same system; such bridges significantly reduce upgrade costs when connecting legacy installations to new panels.
