A hybrid interface card that allows simultaneous use of fiber optic and RS422 connections in the same installation. It establishes a closed-loop, ring topology communication network between G-ONE, Gekko, Octo+, Node+ panels in the CHAMELEON family and the Chameleon repeater. It is used in mixed installations where distant block panels are connected via fiber lines and nearby panels via copper lines.
